CTP 2007 Certification Exam Available

VCampus Corp., manager of Convergence Technology Professional (CTP) certification, has made available of the CTP 2007 certification exam.

The updated exam focuses on verifying that employees, technicians and channel partners possess the skills needed to address the convergence of data, voice and video, VCampus said.

These include VLANs; QoS technologies and concepts; SIP functionality and interoperability with PBX equipment; IP networking including IPv6; power over Ethernet; ENUM standards and configurations; wireless handset and LAN standards; contact center implementation; bandwidth concepts; codecs and voice quality; SIP vs. H323; security; intrusion detection; and pre-qualifying a network for VoIP implementation.

The CTP certification exam was developed under the guidance of the CTP Advisory Council, which consists of representatives from leading manufacturers and the Telecommunications Industry Association.
