Cytracom, the provider of cloud-based voice and messaging offerings for MSPs, has appointed longtime AT&T vet Meredith Caram as its head of sales.

The 20-year IT and communications leader joins Cytracom after leading global distribution at Intrado. Caram had a long tenure of leadership positions in sales, business development and marketing at AT&T.

She joins Cytracom as its vice president of sales.

“Cytracom has been on my radar for some time as the brand has seen tremendous growth in the channel,” she said. “I am thrilled to join the company at such an exciting time and to work closely with the amazing team and impressive partner ecosystem.”

Responsibilities in New Role

As head of sales, Caram will manage and support the sales team working with North American partners. On a day-to-day basis, she will manage sales team activities and recruit talent.

At Intrado, she focused on fostering new sales and engagement within the partner community.

Before that, with AT&T, Caram launched and transformed business initiatives to drive growth in the U.S. and internationally.

“We are excited about Meredith joining our team to lead our next stage of growth,” said Zane Conkle, Cytracom’s CEO and co-founder. “She is a visionary sales leader with a track record of hyper growth in the channel.”

Cytracom’s Meredith Caram is part of Channel Partners/Channel Futures’ 2020 Top Gun 51. The Top Gun 51 recognizes today’s channel executives who build and execute channel programs in a way that drives partner, customer and supplier success. See the full list.

Cytracom says its communications suite is tailored for business needs because it is built on flexible, cloud-based technology. The company has more than 2,000 partners in North America and Canada.

In February, Cytracom got a majority investment from Sverica Capital Management, a private equity investment firm based in San Francisco and Boston. The money has helped it grow and invest in its channel.
