Perhaps you are new to this blog (and I say welcome), or you may have been reading since 2008 when the blog started (in which case I say thanks for reading). However, today is a chance for you to read some of the blogs that address our industrys most pressing issues (Net neutrality, USF, ICC, etc.), or our greatest opportunities (unified communications), or how to position a premise PBX solution versus a managed hosted PBX solution, or just some interesting facts about where IP communications is going, because the SIP and Serve Best of the Blog for 2010 by David Byrd is now available.
2010 was an interesting year with many expected and unexpected changes. Personally, I found the national medias brief interest in Net neutrality a bit of a surprise, although, their lack of reporting on the final rules changes was no surprise. They get bored easily. I have written 334 blogs since SIP and Serve began. I have shared with you 131 original recipes. It has been hard work, fun and always rewarding.
For those of you who read for the food ideas, the Best of 2010 includes a few of my favorite recipes, French Onion Soup, Singapore Chili Pepper Crab, Crab Cakes and Marinara Sauce. I am often asked how much time I spend cooking. I can honestly say nearly every day. I share with you what I fix Friday through Sunday but I am in the kitchen or grilling or smoking nearly every day. For the past 30 years I have been involved in better understanding food and telecommunications. I cant think of a better way to spend a day or a career. Enjoy!
By the way, as for the public relations firm. Broadvox selected Calysto Communications and yes, we are having a second meeting. In fact, after our initial meeting on Wednesday, I am sure we will have many more.
See you on Monday with yet another new original recipe and more musings on IP communications.
