Digital Realty Buys Two Additional Properties

Digital Realty Trust Inc. has acquired two properties, one in Chicago and the other in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
The technology real estate company bought Printers Square, the Chicagos South Loop neighborhood, for approximately $39.0 million. The property is an Internet gateway for the Midwest, containing technical facilities for a number of telecom network service providers and their customers, Digital Realty says.
Digital Realty says the Printers Square property measures approximately 161,500 square feet and is 85 percent leased.
The Amsterdam property, which measures 112,500 square feet, was purchased for approximately 14 million Euros. The three-building data center facility, located in the Amstel Business Park West, has close proximity to downtown Amsterdam. It is 65 percent leased to one tenant.
