Eureka/InfoHighway, now the Northeasts largest CLEC, said today it has appointed a new vice president of indirect and wholesale sales, Robert Westervelt.


Eureka/InfoHighway has an established network of several hundred agent partners and wholesale customers, and we are looking to expand this area of our business and offer new services to our partners, says Raul Martynek, president and CEO of Eureka/InfoHighway.


Westervelt holds more than 15 years of sales, sales management and corporate management experience in the telecommunications industry. He began his career in telecom sales at Teleport Communications Group in 1994, ultimately becoming vice president of sales for the New York region.


After Teleport, Westervelt worked for Nexlink Communications, now XO Communications. His last position there was as president of indirect sales.
