Intelisys has hired a new employee who has expertise in SD-WAN and UCaaS.

Aram Bolduc now serves as senior manager of strategic partner development for the master agent’s New England South. Bolduc, who is based in Connecticut, will oversee subagents in the Constitution State and New York.

Intelisys says Bolduc will support and guide partners in the region, using his résumé of strategic partnerships, business development and sales.

He will report to Justin Marano, director of partner sales for the Northeast. Marano says Intelisys is seeing “considerable growth” in the eastern U.S. as new technologies emerge.

“Dedicated, regional support is a resource our sales partners rely on and trust, and we are pleased to provide this additional layer of support,” Marano said. “Aram is a top performer with over 15 years of sales and telecommunications experience. His passion and motivation for providing truly exceptional sales support and partner experience are a natural fit for Intelisys. He will be a valuable resource for our sales partners.”

Bolduc last worked for MegaPath as regional vice president channel sales. He was with DSL.net since the ’90s, and MegaPath acquired the company in 2009. His other roles at MegaPath included business sales executive, sales manager for SMB markets and senior director of sales.

Intelisys says Bolduc has expertise in UCaaS, SD-WAN and bandwidth aggregation.

“We are seeing a shift in the market as carriers and end-user customers gravitate toward the channel, which is creating huge potential for growth,” he said. “As technology continues to advance, SD-WAN, 5G and IoT will change the landscape — and our sales partners are positioned to provide end users with leading-edge solutions while gaining market share.”

He says he’s excited to help partners build sales and growth plans to find new revenue.

“On the carrier side, you only can offer what the carrier has to offer,” Bolduc said. “I am looking forward to offering my sales partners best-in-class solutions with the right supplier fit through Intelisys’ full portfolio.”

Intelisys this week added MessagePro to its portfolio.
