Master agency Intelisys Communications Inc. announced Tuesday that it completed its acquisition of Cloud Services Coalition (CSC), a wholly owned DBA of Terrapin Solutions.

The deal was announced March 26 at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo.

The acquisition creates a new business unit, Intelisys Cloud Services and Complex Bids, which will continue to fulfill the CSC charter of creating a portfolio of cloud service providers and helping telecom agents and IT solutions providers to add cloud services. Specifically, the new business unit will focus on supporting sales partners through the could sales process, business and application discover, solutions design, project management and turnkey onsite installation and training.

Under the terms of the agreement, Terrapin Solutions will remain a separate entity, fully owned by Andrew Pryfogle, while the CSC team will be integrated into Intelisys with Pryfogle leading the unit as Intelisys senior vice president and general manager.

CSC was formed in May 2010 by Terrapin and Concierge Communications as the Cloud Roundtable and later renamed and incorporated. Terrapin became the sole owner in fall 2011. Intelisys will acquire Terrapin/CSC’s supplier contracts with a dozen cloud services providers as well as its staff of seven (Pryfogle, one project manager, three integration specialists and two sales engineers) as well as its systems and processes, but Terrapin will retain its existing revenue stream, Pryfogle told Channel Partners in a March interview.

This isnt just about jumping on the bandwagon on the latest trend in cloud services,” said Intelisys Co-Founder Rick Dellar. “This is about empowering our entire sales partner community with tools to help them not only survive but thrive in a quickly evolving marketplace that will, unfortunately, leave many behind.”

In addition to cloud services, Intelisys also offers carrier voice and data, cable, collaboration services, wireless and wired access, voice and web conferencing, and Intelisys proprietary telecom asset management tool, Audex.
