LogMeIn Issues Open Call for Partners for UCC Portfolio
This summer, LogMeIn's products will be coming to the United Kingdom, Ireland and Germany.
LogMeIn wants more channel and distribution partners to support its new unified communications and collaboration (UCC) product, GoToConnect, and video conferencing room offering, GoToRoom, along with other products under its new portfolio brand, GoTo.
GoToConnect and GoToRoom now are generally available in the United States and Latin America, and this summer will be headed to the United Kingdom, Ireland and Germany.
Pablo Gargiulo, LogMeIn‘s vice president of sales, tells Channel Partners his company has partners in Europe that carry its products, and with the introduction of GoToConnect and GoToRoom this summer “we will be able to expand their portfolio.”

“Partners come in different flavors and we are interested in working with them all,” he said. “Traditionally our partners have been focused in the Americas, but today we are expanding our geographic footprint to extend to Europe. The common theme is that they hold a position as the trusted adviser to the IT buyer, who typically is the decision maker or a heavy influencer on purchasing decisions.”
The company rebranded its UCC portfolio less than a year after LogMeIn’s acquisition of Jive Communications.
“Expansion through partners is key in LogMeIn’s growth strategy, both currently and as we expand geographically,” Gargiulo said. “A key asset in the acquisition of Jive Communications last year was a robust partner program. Today we are expanding our LogMeIn Partner Network to accelerate that growth by adding more portfolio solutions to existing partners and increasing the partner ecosystem globally. As a global company with users in over 190 countries, a global partner ecosystem is key to supporting our base.”

GoToConnect offers customers audio, video and screensharing capabilities combined with cloud-based telephony in one experience.
GoToRoom is an all-in-one solution that outfits huddle rooms and medium-size conference rooms with all the hardware needed to host or attend video meetings through GoToMeeting — without the need for setup or IT intervention.
“The feedback has been extraordinary,” Gargiulo said. “For existing partners, it’s the ability to access a unique, best-in-class portfolio under a well-known brand, with all the pieces needed for unified communications. We’ve also have received an influx of new partner requests based on a program value proposition: world-class products, simple all-in pricing and a great sales support structure.”
All of LogMeIn’s products support more than 28 million users a month globally, totaling nearly 20 billion voice minutes per year.
