Avaya has developed two new consulting practices that help partners’ customers achieve specific technology objectives.

The first, Cloud Transformation Services, walks large enterprises and service providers through cloud communications implementations. The second, Continuous Performance Services, also is geared toward enterprises. Here, though, users pay on a subscription basis for consulting work related to SIP technologies, network security, self-service automation and cloud platforms.

To take advantage of these new services, resellers just need to follow the same process they already do when securing Avaya Professional Services. The Avaya consulting team then meets with the partner to prepare a statement of work and a quote the partner can take to the client, said Sanjeev Gupta, vice president of marketing for Avaya Professional Services.

Using Avaya Professional Services does not cost resellers extra money. In fact, said Gupta, “these services enable channel partners to expand the share of wallet.” This is especially key as 47 percent of customers surveyed by Avaya say they are considering cloud platforms.

Meantime, Gupta added that all vertical industries and multilocation firms thinking about optimizing configurations or upgrading or replacing infrastructure are ideal candidates for the consulting services.

The Avaya Professional Services unit contains 1,500 specialists throughout the world. The new consulting practices are available now, worldwide.
