RADCOM, a network test and service monitoring solutions provider, at VON said it has partnered with Viola Networks to incorporate Violas VoIP monitoring software into RADCOMs Omni-Q, a service quality management system.

Doing so will give service providers, ILECs and MSOs complete visibility into the VoIP service running over the network, enabling early fault detection, pre-emptive maintenance and optimization, and easy troubleshooting processes, RADCOM said.

Violas active agent technology addresses the unique requirements for VoIP across a range of service level management functions including pre-deployment network assessment, operational support and infrastructure optimization, said Frank van der Poll, EMEA Business Manager for Viola Networks. By partnering with an industry leader such as RADCOM, we are excited to extend the role of our technology and our ability to cover the expanding VoIP management market.
