RingCentral’s Zane Long
Zane Long is RingCentral’s senior vice president of global partner sales. He said partners need the ability to deliver communications solutions to their customers that are “flexible and allow them to work how they want, on the devices and channels of their choice.”
“This new integration gives customers even more flexibility and choice when it comes to how they communicate,” he said. “For example, organizations that are already using Microsoft Teams for team messaging can now access RingCentral’s enterprise PBX Cloud capabilities easily and intuitively from within their Teams environment to drive greater productivity. With RingCentral Cloud PBX for Microsoft Teams, all communication and collaboration essentials live in a single platform, so customers can save time and money, and enjoy an industry-leading enterprise PBX while simplifying the user experience.”
Numerous Features
RingCentral Cloud PBX for Microsoft Teams includes call controls, call handing, call queues, an open platform and global coverage. It also offers service level agreements, security certifications and compliance, native call recording, and analytics and call reports.
“This integration allows our partners to provide their customers with another option and choice for how they want to communicate, both inside and outside their organizations,” Long said. “It creates even greater business agility by extending this flexibility to the customer’s workplace applications of choice.”
Now more than ever, businesses of all types and sizes need technology that allows them to communicate from anywhere, from any device, he said.
“This integration gives our partners additional flexibility in how they can enable their customers to communicate, remain productive and maintain business continuity during this pandemic,” Long said.
“Our clients are demanding secure and reliable technology solutions that enable work from anywhere flexibility, allowing them to communicate through the channels they want, and on the devices of their choice,” said Paul Weiss, chief knowledge officer at Helm Partners, a RingCentral channel partner. “RingCentral’s integrations create even greater business agility by extending this flexibility to our clients’ workplace applications of choice. They have created an ecosystem that works for all businesses, making RingCentral an integral strategic element as we assist our clients in accelerating their digital transformation journey.”
RingCentral also announced additional app integrations for Microsoft Teams. They are native to Teams and accessible via the Office 365 Chrome extension, and are both available on the RingCentral app gallery.
RingCentral also supports integrations across different Microsoft products. Those include Outlook, Office 365, Skype for Business and Dynamics 365. Those streamline workflows with RingCentral as a communications hub.
Earlier this month, RingCentral rolled out its latest partner program to help partners own the entire sales cycle with businesses of up to 400 employees. RingCentral Ignite builds on the company’s Channel Harmony program, but gives partners more flexibility. They can choose the sales process that best suits the needs of each individual prospect, the company said.
