Cloud migration plan

Talkdesk on Tuesday rolled out Business Transformation Services, aimed at guiding companies through contact center transformations from on-premises platforms to cloud solutions.

The Business Transformation operating model provides companies the management consulting, managed services, and development and integration capabilities designed to increase customer advocacy, enhance revenue and optimize operational efficiency, the company said.

Jon Heaps, Talkdesk‘s vice president of channel, tells Channel Partners that Business Transformation Services offers an “efficient and effective cloud implementation coupled with a unique, white-glove approach” that makes the migration from on-premises to cloud “much less complicated.”

“As a result, Talkdesk is now the easiest cloud provider for our channel partners to sell and the premier vendor to move to from on premises,” he said. “After moving from on premises to Talkdesk, customers have seen notable results. For example, in [customer satisfaction] improvement (19%), agent-productivity improvement (20%), time-to-answer reduction (21%) and wait-time reduction (23%). One Talkdesk customer saw a three-year ROI of 150% with a total per-year savings of nearly $700,000.”

Here’s our most recent list of new products and services being offered by agents, VARs, MSPs and other channel partners.

On premises is train travel, while the cloud “is the airplane,” Heaps said.

“You and your competitor need to get from New York City to San Francisco to woo a potential customer,” he said. “You decide to take a train from New York to San Francisco. It’s a great opportunity to see the country and it will be relaxing. It will get you from A to B, but it will take three to four days. Your competitor decides to take a plane from New York to San Francisco. They get a quick view of the country from 30,000 feet, but they arrive in about six hours. They are literally days ahead of you. So yes, businesses that stay with the comfort and nostalgia of on-premises systems are already behind and falling further back by the day.”

“Talkdesk’s process, methodology and implementation make the transition from on-premises to cloud easy and smooth,” said Sebastian Anthony Corriere, chief contact center and customer experience (CX) strategist at VesuvITas. “As both a Talkdesk sales partner as well as a Talkdesk certified implementation engineering partner, we work with many companies that want to move off of their legacy, on-premises system and onto a cloud platform, but are hesitant due to the complications that have challenged other vendors. With Talkdesk’s Business Transformation Services, we can confidently recommend Talkdesk knowing that our clients will be implemented correctly and efficiently.”
