TBI has added two new channel managers to its roster. Kit Carker will support partners in Texas and Oklahoma, while Robert Schlosser will serve partners in New York City and Long Island.

TBI’s Kit Carker

Carker comes to TBI from Telstra – Americas, where he served as the central region channel director for indirect sales. He started his career in telecom after graduating from the University of Central Oklahoma and has worked in channel sales, direct sales and account management. He has spent the past 19 years working with partners to create avenues of revenue for their organizations.

“Working with TBI will give me the opportunity to bring partners world-class tools,” Carker said. “I love that working for TBI allows me to focus 100 percent on helping individual partners grow their businesses.”

“Kit brings a strong history within the channel and specifically in the Dallas marketplace,” said Marco Sanchez, TBI’s senior director of sales. “His work ethic and eagerness to help partners grow their business is what I’m most looking forward to about supporting him. Along with that, he has immense passion to learn and understand what’s going on in the marketplace, which is something I believe our partners will look forward to taking advantage of.”

Here’s our list of channel people on the move in October.

TBI’s Robert Schlosser

Like Carker, Robert Schlosser moved into the telecom industry after college, when he accepted a telecom sales position at ITT. He excelled quickly, becoming the number one sales rep within six months. Throughout the years he has managed direct and indirect sales teams. His sales experience — gained while working for ITT, Sprint, C&W, Frontier and TWC — includes B2B, residential customers and direct sales with agents. He was named the Broadview Ambassadors Club Winner in 2016 and again in 2017.

“With my experience in direct and indirect sales, both as a representative and manager, I can provide partners the expertise and outstanding service and support they need to grow their business in the New York and Long Island metro areas,” said Schlosser. “I am looking forward to continuing my successful career with TBI!”

Schlosser will be working under Boe Meller, TBI’s director of sales for the eastern U.S. “I am excited to welcome Robert Schlosser to the TBI East Region team,” said Mellor. “He will be supporting our partners in the New York City market and delivering best-in-class solutions and support.”

Mellor himself joined TBI this past February. The company, which announced in January that it is moving to a regional-based channel strategy, has since expanded its channel team with a number of new hires.
