TelePacific Signs Wholesale Contracts With AT&T

TelePacific Communications has signed long-term wholesale contracts with the AT&T Inc. local telephone companies and AT&Ts long-distance affiliate that will help TelePacific expand its operations within California and Nevada.
The five-year contracts are worth $180 million, and AT&T will provide TelePacific with wholesale long-distance voice services and special access services for DS1 and DS3 transport.
AT&T Wholesale solutions enable carriers to offer services including voice and data and IP. AT&T provides end-to-end platforms for carriers, wireless operators, cable providers, systems integrators, Internet service providers and content providers.
TelePacific manages more than 75,000 customer accounts with 930,000 access lines and offers voice, Internet access, private networking and data transport services as well as bundled voice and Internet and wholesale services.
