Telesystem, a provider of voice, data and security solutions, has added Angela Clodfelter to their indirect agent program as a regional channel manager for the southeast. Based in Atlanta, she will serve as a local resource for partners in that city, as well as Birmingham, Alabama; Charlotte, North Carolina; Greenville, South Carolina; and Nashville, Tennessee.

Clodfelter’s addition to the team comes as part of Telesystem’s national expansion focus, specifically their emphasis on growing their customer and agent base in the Southeast.

“We decided as an organization that we needed to create a position near Atlanta that would allow for regular face time for our partners in that region,” said Bruce Wirt, Telesystem’s executive vice president and chief business development officer, “Angela comes to us with extensive relationships and a history of positive performance. I’m thrilled to have her on the team.”

Here’s our list of channel people on the move in December.

Clodfelter brings more than 20 years of experience in both the carrier and agent channel side. Her LinkedIn profile shows that she served as a major account representative for Windstream and a cloud technology partner manager for Broadview Networks, as well as a channel manager for IntelePeer. Prior to joining Telesystem, she spent more than seven years as a regional channel manager in the southeastern U.S. for HostMyCalls, a hosted PBX and SIP trunk provider.

“As part of the Telesystem channel team, I am able to offer a total solution providing leading products and services that are delivered with top-notch white-glove practices,” Clodfelter said. “As partners grow their own digital and cloud solutions, my intent is that partners will engage me, and as a unified team we will bring a wealth of knowledge and solutions to their end customers.”

Ohio-based Telesystem serves more than 21,000 customer locations in 45 states and the District of Columbia, plus four international destinations, and works with 13 of the top 20 national master agencies. In August the company announced the appointment of Seth Gibbs as its new indirect sales manager for its national channel program and the addition of Reginald Blackshear and Dave Tischler as channel account managers.
