TelTel Rolls out SVNO Program
September 15, 2005
Peer-to-peer SIP service provider TelTel has launched its SIP Virtual Network Operators (SVNO) Partnership Program, modeled after wireless MVNO programs.
The setup means ISPs, ITSPs, CLECs, carriers and other providers can offer VoIP and other SIP-based services without building the necessary infrastructure.
The program charges a one-time fee and includes future revenue sharing opportunities, according to a TelTel news release. Partner providers get access to TelTels SIP platform; SIP termination and origination capabilities; a softphone that can be co-branded; and integration with the partner’s networks.
TelTels SVNO partners can offer conferencing, voice mail and PBX features to enterprises. They also will have Web portals for managing their services and user base.
TelTel says it can co-brand products and services with SVNO partners, and offers several billing and payment system options, as well.
