TPx, the managed services and connectivity provider, has added Matthew Coso and Shawn Kirchner to its team of channel managers, with Coso supporting partners in upstate New York, and Kirchner doing the same in Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia.

“Matt and Shawn are accomplished channel managers with many years of experience working with partners and their clients in the Northeast,” said James Maloney, TPx‘s senior vice president of sales. “They both came highly recommended by colleagues and partners, and give us high expectations for continued growth in the region. We’re thrilled to have them on our growing channel-management team.”

Coso brings 20 years of industry sales and channel experience. Before joining TPx, he was a channel manager in the Northeast for RapidScale. Before that he held executive, sales and channel management positions for several high-tech companies, including PaeTec (now part of Windstream), where he spent seven years.

Coso plans to recruit new TPx partners and support existing ones, assisting them with technology selection and solution design for their clients.

“I joined TPx because it has a state-of-the-art enterprise technology portfolio and longstanding reputation for delivering a superior partner and customer experience,” he said. “I’m looking forward to playing a role in its national expansion and working with partners in upstate New York to win more business and grow revenue together.”

Kirchner has 23 years of industry experience working for technology companies and their channel partners in the Northeast, including Aargent. He plans to work alongside TPx partners, and make sure they have the resources and support necessary to successfully market TPx managed IT, UC and managed connectivity solutions.

“Several colleagues steered me in the direction of TPx because it’s the premier managed-services company in the country and undergoing incredible expansion,” he said. “TPx’s next-gen UC solutions and managed services are cutting-edge and easy sellers, and the company is very channel friendly. I’m anxious to get rolling and looking forward to growing my territory very fast.”
