Several of the telecom industry’s master agents feature a members-only President’s Club and, now, so does World Telecom Group (WTG).

The Malibu, Calif.-based company said its President’s Club, like other agencies’, will recognize top agents’ success. To be sure, WTG has held its annual Tee & Sea event for the past 10 years to honor all of its partners; the President’s Club, though, will give the highest-performing agents a lengthier getaway plus recognition they can use throughout the year while pitching to customers.

The first President’s Club trip slated for February 2013 at a yet-to-be announced tropical location  will last four days and three nights.

“We want to reward our greatest-producing agents by offering them some time away from work and the ability to fine-tune their relationships with us, as well as with some of our top providers,” said Vince Bradley, WTG’s CEO.

Covered expenses will include round-trip airfare, transportation to and from the resort and, of course, the hotel stay. Partners who meet certain sales quotas throughout 2012 will be eligible for the WTG President’s Club. WTG has yet to make the thresholds public but did say it’s breaking membership into three tiers: Platinum, Gold and Silver.

In addition to the trip, though, WTG wanted to give its top agents credit they can use to help win customer loyalty. So, for starters, 2012 President’s Club members will be featured in WTG’s press announcement. They also will receive press-release templates and a plaque, and be able to show their WTG President’s Club membership on their business cards, corporate letterhead and sales collateral. Finally, President’s Club members will receive automatic qualification to Tee & Sea.
