Aerohive Networks, the provider of cloud-managed networking, on Tuesday launched a new partner portal aimed at better serving channel affiliates and streamlining business transactions.

The new platform, built on Salesforce Partner Communities, positions partners for greater success by connecting, communicating, engaging and continually equipping them with effective tools and resources, the company said.

Ben Moebes, Aerohive’s vice president of channels and strategic partnerships, tells Channel Partners his company’s products and solutions “radically simplify” operating and managing access networks, and “we are applying these across all parts of our business, including our partner portal.”

“This partner portal is another way to expand on our commitment to channel partners and ultimately make it even easier to do business with us,” he said. “We understand that a partner portal is integral to the success of and relationship between Aerohive and our partners. Launching a more dynamic and user-friendly platform will allow our partners to stay competitive by easily managing leads and opportunities, accessing training tools and materials, as well as programs and promotions to drive demand.”

Aerohive interviewed its channel partners prior to the launch to get them involved in the process early on, obtain their feedback and find out what matters most to them, Moebes said.

“This phase of the launch helped us stay focused on what our partners care most about and how we can simplify and optimize their overall user experience,” he said.

Here’s our most recent list of important channel-program changes you should know.

The new portal includes: automated on-boarding, with training tools and materials for partners to on-board, train and deploy new Aerohive solutions for their customers; marketing automation to drive demand and build pipeline; early exposure of leads and opportunities to help partners drive revenue; and real-time visibility and analytics to track ROI as partners grow their businesses.

“Our shared goal is to make sure our mutual customers are getting the best experience before even deploying our products and solutions,” Moebes said. “Through this improved portal, we are empowering our partners to go to market faster and accelerate sales with our new AI-powered platform.”

Aerohive will host several training sessions on how to navigate the portal and best take advantage of new features in the coming weeks.

“We’re excited about the rollout of Aerohive’s new partner portal,” said Chris McDaniel, vice president of sales for vTECH IO. “Their investment in an upgraded platform proves a long-term commitment to our success, and clearly demonstrates to us that Aerohive is making it easier for partners to access customer solutions, tools and resources needed to deliver a mutually beneficial business.”
