Avant, CDW Win Big In Tierpoint Partner Awards

Avant booked the most Tierpoint partner deals in 2022, according to the colocation and cloud services provider.

Chicago-based Avant took home Distribution Partner of the Year in TierPoint’s annual channel partner awards. St. Louis-based TierPoint recognized five impactful distribution, sales, services and technology partners this week.

TierPoint chief marketing officer Pete Abel said the vendor’s channel partner program is seeing “strong growth.”

“TierPoint is unique in the industry, with the breadth of solutions we offer, from colocation to cloud and managed services. Our partner community helped drive positive results across this portfolio, with especially strong momentum in cloud, including renewed success in private cloud plus growing interest in our public cloud consulting, management, governance and related services,” Abel told Channel Futures.

Avant has won the partner of the year award in consecutive years, according to TierPoint. Avant leaders have touted the company’s investments in cloud and earned some validation from the industry. For example, Rackspace in 2020 named Avant its first $1 million MRR partner. Avant has also promoted disaster recovery as a service, a technology TierPoint offers.

On the TSD/advisory side, Bridgepointe Technologies and Telarus also got in on the awards action. Bridgepointe won Breakout Partner of the Year, having closed a “major, six-figure monthly billing account” with TierPoint. TierPoint named Telarus its Pre-Sales Team of the Year. Telarus’ investments in pre-sales include its relatively new cybersecurity consulting software.

On the customer-facing side, TierPoint named CDW its Services and Solutions Partner of the Year. According to TierPoint, CDW outpaced service/solution partners across all regions last year. TierPoint pointed to the CDW integrated services engagement team for its efforts.

HPE-owned Zerto, which supports TierPoint’s DRaaS offering, won Alliance Partner of the Year. The two companies have enjoyed a rich history, with Zerto named TierPoint its 2022 MSP of the Year.
