ConnectWise Launches NOC Service

One evening during last year’s IT Nation, the bar in the lobby of the Hyatt Regency in Orlando, Fla., was filled with attendees to ConnectWise’s annual fall conference, most sipping cocktails and glued to the TV screens as an improbable political saga unfolded and landed Donald Trump in the White House.

And though it may seem like a long time ago politically, it truly has been a lifetime in terms of product innovation since last year’s event.

IT Nation 2017 returns to Orlando next week for what promises to be a celebration of cooperation and integration among most of the biggest names in the IT services provider space and across tech.

Already, integrations have been announced with itopia, which enables ConnectWise partners to use the WaaS vendor’s cloud IT management portal to synchronize accounts, ticketing and billing transactions among ConnectWise Manage and Google Cloud Platform.

Another major announcement came from Datto, which unveiled a new integration for its networking product line and the ConnectWise Automate remote monitoring and management (RMM) tool.

Datto also said it has rebuilt an existing integration with the ConnectWise Manage professional services automation (PSA) software.

In an email to MSPmentor, Datto officials wanted to highlight the fact that the latest integrations were announced less than a week after Datto revealed it had acquired Autotask.

“…addressing fears that the company might be cutting down on tool integration across vendors and platforms, and underscoring its commitment to the MSP landscape,” the email from Datto said.

A host of other huge new integrations and product releases are set to be announced throughout the coming week (we got a peek but have been sworn to secrecy).

As usual, the IT Nation Solutions Pavillion will be filled with displays and demonstrations of a wide range of new products.

StorageCraft will be demonstrating its new Instant Recovery solution, which it bills as a radical advancement in backup and recovery, enabling instantaneous recovery at ground-breaking economics.

The new product marks the first union of technologies from StorageCraft and Exablox, a recent acquisition whose products aim to blur the line between primary and secondary storage.

In terms of can’t-miss sessions, Friday features a panel called “Ask Them Anything,” comprised of a Q&A with some of the industry’s most knowledgeable veterans:  ConnectWise CEO Arnie Bellini, and MSP peer groups leaders Arlin Sorensen, Gary Pica and Paul Dippell.

IT Nation runs Wednesday through Friday.
