Chalk up five straight wins for Intelisys in the Masergy partner awards.

Masergy, the software-defined networking provider, honored eight channel partners for their sales performance in fiscal year 2021. Intelisys once again claimed the top spot in the services distributor (master agent) category. It led in overall sales, as it has every year since 2017. Intelisys also led in SD-WAN sales.

However, Avant made some ground on Intelisys, earning the most UCaaS and security sales. Last year Intelisys led Masergy partners in overall, SD-WAN and UCaaS sales.

“We value the strong relationship and confidence Masergy has built with our partners as a result of their unparalleled customer experience and managed services,” Jennifer Gallego, Avant’s executive vice president of global sales. “We know Masergy’s leadership is built to deliver on their superior technology while having a strategic plan in place to serve customers.”

Advantage Communications Group joined them in the awards list with the highest year-over-year growth.

On the direct-selling agent side, CDW took the cake, leading its peers in overall sales. But a diverse group of agents landed on the list. Blue Equinox led in SD-WAN sales and scored the largest deal, and UC Right landed the most new logos.

Channel Growth

Jim Glackin, senior vice president of Masergy’s global channel, praised the partners for driving “historic results” for the vendor. This month Masergy reported a 70% year-over-year increase in channel sales.

“It’s no coincidence that one year after launching the Masergy Zenith Program, we have had our best year ever. Our partner community has embraced the program and the investments we have made,” Glackin said. “I owe a big thank you to each and every one of you. Your partnership and contributions have played a large part in our record-breaking growth in fiscal year 2021.”

The Zenith program drew heads for the hefty incentives it offered to partners selling SD-WAN and UCaaS. Masergy also revamped its SLAs and its SASE platform last year.

Andrew Beasley, Blue Equinox’s director of sales, thanked Masergy for the recognition. Seven-year-old Blue Equinox joined Masergy’s program for the first time last year.

“Blue Equinox’s goal is to make every client relevant, competitive, and secure through IT. Masergy is helping us deliver that with solutions that converge SD-WAN, security and unified communications all in one SASE cloud platform. We are very grateful for our ongoing partnership,” Beasley said.
