8×8 launched a browser-based user interface for its contact center service.
The goal of the new Agent Workspace is to help contact center agents improve customer experience. Operating on the web allows the platform to forgo software upgrades.
In addition, the offering integrates with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Zendesk, Zoho and NetSuite.

Google will distribute its Chrome OS contact center ecosystem through two technology distributors.
Intelisys and TBI partners, particularly VARs, can resell the Chrome OS operating system alongside a variety of Chrome-approved CCaaS vendors and endpoints. Google first introduced its set of integrated solutions last fall.

Windstream Enterprise launched a new secure access service edge offering through a technology partnership.
Teaming up with Cato Networks gave Windstream and its customers access to a cloud-based platform that converges advanced security and networking features. According to Windstream executives, the carrier is the first of its North American peers to offer such a fully converged, cloud-based platform.

Arizona-based technology sourcing firm PlanetOne added cybersecurity provider Darktrace to its list of suppliers.
Darktrace provides a “self-learning” cybersecurity platform, attack path modeling and a Cyber AI Research Center. The vendor had been working with the channel in a resale model, but it has expanded to a commissions-based agent model.

Amazon Web Services and MongoDB teamed up to launch new services over the next six years.
Their joint capabilities will enhance AWS Graviton processors and AWS Outposts. The alliance will also help MongoDB expand into additional AWS Regions.

Super-agency Upstack signed an exclusive agreement with a data center provider.
Upstack advisers and their customers will enjoy access to Wyoming Hyperscale White Box’s data center cluster. Wyoming Hyperscale is tapping into liquid cooling and wind and solar power in order to make its operations sustainable.

Mitel turned several of its products into subscription offerings.
Customers can now consume the MiVoice Business communications platform as a service. Mitel has also made its SMB-focused MiVoice Office 400 phone system and enterprise-focused MiVoice 5000 system subscribable, as well as MiVoice MX-ONE.

Avaya and Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise (ALE) teamed up to offer one another’s solutions to their respective customers.
ALE will sell Avaya’s OneCloud CCaaS to its customers. On the other hand, Avaya will sell ALE’s Digital Age Networking solutions to its customers.

ServiceNow updated its platform to better support MSPs.
The San Diego release of the Now Platform upgraded the user interace and introduced new automation capabilities. More specifically, the update gave MSPs AI-based self-service and support for their customers. The new “Order Management for Technology Providers” capability enables faster provisioning.

GoTo, formerly known as LogMeIn, launched an SMB-focused contact center as a service offering.
Executives said the service is flexible for remote workers with free access to GoTo’s employee IT management tool. Moreover, GoTo’s chief product and technology officer says the offering provides an alternative to “costly and overly complicated” CCaaS solutions.

Kaseya recently enhanced its sales and marketing enablement platform.
Compliance Manager GRC unifies the data gathering process and reporting requirements based on various IT controls. According to the executives, the offering saves times for IT staff that need to manage various requirements.

IntelliSite and Broad Sky Networks brought their offerings together more than a year after their merger.
Specifically, Broad Sky’s 4G LTE and 5G wireless connectivity will power IoT devices and sensors that give data to IntelliSite’s AI software platform.
IntelliSite’s 2020 acquisition of Broad Sky initially resulted in the companies operating as separate subsidiaries of a new holding company.

HPE-owned Aruba upgraded its Edge Services Platform (ESP).
ESP now includes a function allowing enterprises to centrally manage distributed networks. The cloud-native services make it easier to provision policy for and to automate various network configurations.

Palo Alto Networks launched a next-gen firewall with the help of AWS.
Customers can harness the managed firewall service to secure their cloud deployments on AWS. Partners will gain the ability to sell the offering when it becomes available for purchase outside of AWS.

MSP, agent and VAR partners can sell multiple new technology products and services.
Some of the largest vendors in the ICT channel unveiled new offerings in the last month. IT management software company Kaseya unveiled two new features that MSP customers can use, and Aruba expanded its Edge Services Platform, which VAR partners can resell. Windstream Enterprise launched a SASE offering. And VMware announced a new storage as a service offering.
Vendors continue to tap into the contact center as a service (CCaaS) market. 8×8 expanded its CCaaS offering with a new feature, and GoTo launched an SMB-focused platform. In addition, Alcatel-Lucent made Avaya’s CCaaS offering available to its customers.
