TPx Appoints Manager to Support Partners in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas

Kristen Vick, previously with TeleDomani and Telecom Decision Makers (TDM), is now a national channel manager with managed services carrier TPx.

Based in Houston, Vick will support TPx partners in Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas. She will be responsible for recruiting, on-boarding and training partners in her region, and making sure they have everything they need when marketing, selling and supporting TPx offerings.

Vick brings many years of industry experience in the channel, primarily working for KeaneTel, a master agency, from 2005 to 2013, before it was acquired by TDM. After the acquisition, she stayed with TDM, working in support positions involving quotes, orders and commission analysis. She grew into a business-development and sales-enablement role where she was the point person between all vendors and partners, and assisted partners with closing millions of dollars in new business.

“Having spent most of my career on the master-agency side of the industry, I’ve seen a range of suppliers experience peaks and valleys,” she said. “The highly successful ones were those that evolved with the technology and were able to execute on a plan for growth. TPx is proven on both counts and has excellent senior leadership as well as channel management. I was in talks with multiple companies, but when I peeled back the onion, I felt like TPx provided the best opportunity for myself and the partners with whom I’ll be working side by side.”

TPx continues to expand its national channel presence and now employs three-dozen channel managers across the country who assist its partners selling its portfolio of UC, managed IT and managed security services. Last week, TPx announced it has hired a channel manager to support partners in New England.
