Whether your skills are duffer-level or divine, you don’t want to miss the Telecom for Change: Topgolf Charity Event.
Nonprofit Telecom for Change is comprised of telecom agents and carriers that dedicate their time and resources to provide aid to grassroots charities across the U.S. Since the group started in 2014, it has raised more than $1 million.
The Channel Partners Homecoming event will support Newtown Action Alliance. Founded after the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, the group works to reverse the escalating volume of gun violence in the U.S.
The event will take place at Topgolf Las Vegas, located at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino. In addition to honing your skills in one of the hitting bays, you can enjoy food, drinks and music.
The event is invitation-only. For more information, contact [email protected].
Any summit that kicks off with an exclusive performance by the Blue Man Group has to be a pretty hot ticket. So what’s this MSP Summit all about, anyway?
Colocated with Channel Partners Homecoming, the two-day (Nov. 1-2) MSP Summit will feature keynotes and conference sessions exploring the hottest topics in the MSP community.
MSP Summit has been designed to provide MSPs with a road map to navigate ever-changing business landscape, with information on how to invest resources, capital and energy to accelerate sales growth and profitability, and bolster business value with partners, suppliers and — most importantly — customers.
Being able to return to a live event is something to cheer about — and we have just the group to do it.
The Las Vegas Raiderettes will be at the Expo Hall grand opening to help us celebrate Channel Partners Homecoming.
After all, what’s homecoming without cheerleaders?
CIO priorities have dramatically changed. IT leaders have a new set of expectations about what they want from strategic partners. So channel leaders need to fully understand what customers really want and need today. In the session “Everything Your Customers Won’t Tell You,” Informa’s Bobby DeMarzo will be joined by Matthew Pasco of the Las Vegas Raiders; CIO, CTO and BI and analysis executive Doug Pontius; Gary Sorrentino of Zoom; and Scott Wessel of MGM Resort for a frank, no-nonsense discussion of just what channel partners can do to add value and what they need to stop doing immediately.
As was noted in his profile as the 2021 Channel Influencer of the Year, Jay McBain has been obsessed with data from an early age. He also has razor-sharp analytic skills which he puts to good use as principal analyst of channels, partnerships and ecosystems for Forrester. And he’s going to be sharing some of his key insights and analysis in his keynote, “The Tech-Telco Tipping Point: Get Your Business Ready for the Decade of the Ecosystem.” The channel is dealing with a new go-to-market reality that’s being driven by changes in customer and buyer behavior as well as the maturation of emerging technologies. Jay will examine the trends that are impacting the industry and provide actionable advice.
New sales and marketing practices are revolutionizing the way agents, resellers and MSPs drive revenue and profits. What’s new? What’s different? What’s working?
In their session, “The Revenue Engine of the Future: Welcome to the New Sales & Marketing Revolution,” marketing and event consultant Salwa Scarpone and Michael Schmidtmann of Trans4mers will detail new and innovative practices to rev up the nature of your revenue generation. You’ll learn about all the new tools and ways that smart organizations are growing their businesses and multiplying profits. Old-school sales practices have lost their effectiveness; educated buyers are finding new and nontraditional ways to Identify solutions and solve problems. Make sure they can find you.
Exploring new possibilities means keeping an eye on disruptive companies. You know, the ones with non-conventional business models that challenge industry incumbents — and in many cases, replace them.
In “Disruptive Business Models & Their Impact on Growth – Communications Is Next,“ Jason Byrne of Netsapiens will examine the disruptive business model taking hold in the communications arena and the impact it’s having on the bottom lines of service providers.
It was technology to the rescue for keeping businesses operating remotely during the pandemic. And this proved to be an opportunity for the cloud market. There was a definite surge in cloud adoption globally across diverse industries. During “Evolving Your Business in the Age of Cloud Acceleration and Digital Transformation,” Nick Heddy of Pax8 will share insights on key trends in the market, how to set up companies for resilience and how to address future opportunities.
The company of friends, wine and signature cocktails, and a delectable seven-course meal. What else could you ask for? Perhaps a server in night goggles since you’ll be eating in total darkness.
BlackOut offers a unique dining experience during which diners sit in absolute darkness to enjoy a seven course pre-fixed plant-based meal. In the absence of sight, patrons experience how delicious food impacts the four remaining senses — touch, taste, smell and hearing. After the meal, diners are returned to the light to find out the identity of the mouthwatering dishes they just enjoyed.
If you’re interested in being part of this one-of-a-kind experience, be sure to go on Monday, the only day during Homecoming that the restaurant is open. You can make reservations by clicking here.
