Insight, Cloud5 Roll Out New Managed Services

Plus, Cloud5 Communications has launched a new managed services division for hospitality.

Insight Enterprises has added a new global managed cloud offering, and Cloud5 Communications has launched a new managed services division to support the hospitality industry.

Insight Managed Cloud Services takes cloud management from IT teams to deliver improved performance and user experiences for Microsoft Azure environments, with capabilities to extend to a multicloud approach including Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Insight technical support centers are positioned around the world to provide access to engineers for 24/7 monitoring, data and endpoint protection and issues resolution.

Cloud5’s New Managed Services Division

Cloud5‘s new managed services division will support the IT needs and challenges of the hospitality industry, as well as adjacent markets including multi-dwelling unit (MDU), senior living and student housing. It will help properties better manage technology infrastructure, IT operations, projects and security initiatives.

“Our team has built a reputation for expertise and service excellence — it’s something we’ve invested deeply in and, as a result, we have great client partnerships and some of the most knowledgeable, dedicated people in the business working at Cloud5,” said Mark Holzberg, Cloud5‘s president and CEO. “A managed services division is a natural extension of our service-driven, technology-focused business, and will enable us to provide the industry with a more consultative approach to the provisioning of services.”

The new division will offer managed service desk support; managed infrastructure services and support; managed network support; managed cybersecurity services; managed data backup and recovery; and professional services.

To lead this venture, Cloud5 has hired Heide Werthamer as vice president of managed services operations, and Marina Willis as vice president of strategic accounts. Werthamer most recently was COO and Willis was vice president of strategic accounts at Edge Communications.
