Green House Data has hired David Neely, formerly with MarketRace, Charter Communications and tw telecom, as its new vice president of channel, charged with expanding and energizing the channel sales program, and enabling partners with cloud technologies and managed IT.

Neely has more 10 years of experience in IT services and telecommunications. He was responsible for the creation and management of the Charter channel program, providing “valuable familiarity with profile and loss management of channel programs, custom API and portal development for partners, legal contracts, and the management of thousands of partners and agents,” Green House Data said.

Neely tells Channel Partners that Green House’s executive leadership, including senior vice president of sales Mark Fuqua, are “very interested in growing relationships within the partner community, which is the main reason they hired me.”

“Many partners I’ve spoken to simply want to learn more about the products and services we offer, including cloud, IaaS, BaaS, DRaaS, DaaS, colocation, VMware, Azure, DaaS/VDI, security consultation, gScale object storage, and MSS/managed service solutions,” he said. “We have some key master service agreements (MSAs) with agents, but we want to strategically add some more over the next 12-18 months.”

With a wide range of services, Green Cloud said it can offer any level of service to partners regardless of the partner familiarity and expertise with the technology involved.

“I want partners to know I’m very easy to work with … and the success I had at Charter is what I expect to have at Green House Data,” Neely said.

More than one-third of channel companies view themselves at a disadvantage without offering cloud services, he said. At the same time, those that do offer them are seeing revenue and customer retention rates increasing, he said. Green House has the technology and support to “get our channel partners to those increased revenues, I’m here to streamline that partnership,” he said.

“I want to get Green House Data deeper and wider within the channel partner community, connect all our account executives to the key partners within their geography, and most importantly I simply want to help agents make more money with Green House Data through our ability to provide platform-agnostic managed services across industries and verticals for a hands-on infrastructure management to support end customer’s growth,” he said.

“David’s extensive credentials and experience in the telco and cloud spheres, alongside his track record of growing programs, brings sophistication and energy to the channel,” Fuqua said. “I look forward to seeing David’s results with master agents, MSPs, resellers, and other organizations looking to add cloud and productivity platforms to their product offerings.”
