Synnex Partners Are Nextiva Agents Now
Synnex was already selling Avaya's UCaaS solution, and Nextiva previously signed a partnership with D&H.
Distributor Synnex just signed up cloud communications provider Nextiva as one of its vendors.
Synnex and its partners will sell Nextiva’s UCaaS and CCaaS solutions through a commissions-based agent model. Nextiva joins the Synnex Stellr unit, which the distributor dedicates to cloud, mobility and IoT.
Synnex’ Darren Harbaugh
“Adding Nextiva is another important step in the continued expansion of the Stellr cloud business and provides new communication and collaboration opportunities for resellers,” said Darren Harbaugh, Synnex’s senior vice president of Stellr cloud, mobility and IoT. “By pairing Nextiva’s leading UCaaS and CCaaS products with our dedicated internal resources, our partners are able to deliver end-to-end productivity solutions to help customers in the SMB, midmarket and enterprise markets elevate their service experience.”
Nextiva last month updated its CCaaS solution to integrate it more with the Nextiva Phone System.

“Nextiva is committed to helping businesses build deeper connections with their customers,” said Marc Stein, Nextiva’s vice president of channel sales and global channel chief. “Together with Synnex, we can expand our mutual channel partners’ capabilities to provide a true end-to-end solution, allowing businesses to connect their CRM strategy with their unified communications in the cloud.”
Synnex resellers can access training, support from a dedicated team and marketing and financial support in their efforts selling Nextiva.
Background
Distributor partners are not new to Nextiva, nor is UCaaS new to Synnex. Nextiva earlier this year announced a partnership with D&H Distributing. Synnex last year signed on to sell the Avaya Cloud Office UCaaS solution.
Nextiva last month chose Stein as its new channel chief following the departure of Carl Katz earlier this year. We learned last week that chief revenue officer Eric Martorano has left the company.
Synnex earlier this year announced the $7.2 billion acquisition of rival distributor Tech Data, combining the second and third largest companies in the market to challenge Ingram Micro.
