MDM enterprise software market is expected to grow a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 21.3 percent over the period 2012-2016.

A new report from TechNavio forecasts the global MDM enterprise software market to rise at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 21.3 percent over the period 2012-2016.

The report, which  the company says was based on in-depth market analysis and inputs from industry experts, also noted that this particular market has seen an increasing demand from small and medium-sized enterprises.

But the research also reveals a threat to the enterprise MDM market: emerging open-source MDM solutions, leading to limited market growth.
