Hilary Gadda, the 20-year veteran of TPx Communications (formerly TelePacific) who briefly landed at Nextiva before falling victim of a wave of job cuts last year, is the new head of partner management at Coro Cybersecurity.
It’s a newly created role at the company. She will focus on growing relationships with tech services distributors.

Dan McAllister is the new leader of Boomi‘s global partner ecosystem. The software integration provider nabbed the former Salesforce channel leader as senior VP of global channels and alliances.
McAllister, who also brings experience from SAP, was most recently leading the global partner network at MuleSoft, a Boomi rival.
Cloud commerce marketplace Pax8 turned to David Powell as its new VP of sales strategy. He will have a strong focus on working with MSPs to develop and strengthen their cybersecurity offerings.
Powell brings experience from Prodoscore, Evo Security and ConnectWise, to name a few.

You’re looking at Joe Levy (left), promoted to president of the Sophos Technology Group (STG), and Bill Robbins, appointed president, worldwide field operations at the security company.
Levy has been with Sophos since 2015. Robbins comes from Mandiant, where he was CRO and executive vice president.
Ryan Bruns is now a national channel manager supporting the Midwest for Momentum Telecom.
Bruns spent the last eight months at 8×8 but also has experience from RingCentral, Pax8, Ruckus Networks, Brocade and more.
Security vendor Barracuda has two new executives of note.
That’s Maria Martinez, VP of channels, Americas, on the left. She has moe than 20 years of channel experience. She spent the last four years at Logitech and more than 12 years before that at InFocus.
On the right you see Karen Ward. It’s a promotion for the six-year veteran of Barracuda, whose new title is VP, MSP sales, Americas.
Michelle Accardi, known for her executive roles at Star2Star Communications and Logically, is now the chief executive officer at Liongard.
Liongard is a SaaS platform that helps MSPs mitigate customers’ security risks.

Juniper Networks turned to Devi Rai as its new senior partner account manager, Tier 2 SPaaC. It’s a promotion for Rai, who has been with the networking giant for two years.
Previous employers include Claro, BullsEye Telecom, NetFortris and many more.
It was a busy month of promotions at Avant Communications, the tech services distributor.

Secureworks and Dell alum Stuart Schielack signed on as global VP of channels and alliances at DigiCert, the digital security company.
It’s a new position, as DigiCert hopes to beef up its channel business. The company’s business to this point is 20% channel.

Avaya and PGi alum Marci Allen just joined the team at Dizzion, the digital workplace supplier. She will be senior alliance manager, CCaaS, for the company.
Allen spent the last eight months at eGain Corp. She was director of North America partner strategy and operations at Avaya until last September.
Caitlyn Jopp is the new VP of community and engagement at Channel Program, the vendor sourcing and optimization network.
It’s a promotion for Jopp, who also has experience from CompTIA, Auvik Networks and IT Glue.
MeiLee Langley, who you know from 8×8, RingCentral, Nextiva, and most recently, LiveVox,, has a new job as VP of global marketing at cybersecurity provider Xcitium.
While her background is primarily in communications and collaboration, she tells Channel Futures she is excited for the new challenge.
Joe Gabbert started a new position as director, channel — Southwest, at Sandler Partners, the telecom, cloud and IT solutions distributor.
Nitel and Verizon are two of his previous big-name employers.
A four-and-a-half year veteran of security giant Trend Micro, Wesley Nelson just accepted a promotion to senior manager, global system integrators.
Nelson spent four-and-a-half years at Synnex before joining Trend Micro in 2018.
David Durrant is a new channel sales manager for Paessler in the UK and Ireland.
The newest channel employee for the network monitoring company has a number of former tech employers, including SolarWinds and AppGate.
Robinder Koura is the new head of partner sales, EMEA, at GoTo, the UC software and remote IT provider. It’s a promotion for Koura, who previously was at director level.
His career has taken him to Lifesize, RingCentral, Genband and more.
At Telarus, the technology solutions brokerage, JW Stanley (bottom right) was promoted to director of inside sales engineering. He has been with the company for two years.
That’s Paige Tejada (bottom left), partner experience advocate. It’s a promotion from PEA coverage specialist. Based in Salt Lake City, she’s been with Telarus for just a year.
Top right you see James Rinkert, Telarus’ new partner development manager in the Midwest. Based in Iowa, you might know him from his time with Nextiva.
And top left, that’s Doug Starzak, director of partner development in northern California. He joins the team after career stops with 8×8, Zoom, RingCentral, MegaPath and more.
Eric Herman’s title is senior manager, sales operations, at Innovative Business Solutions, the partner experience company.
We’re guessing you’re quite familiar with his previous employer, Intelisys, where he spent six years, most recently as manager, partner support, for the West and central regions. Before that, he spent nine years at NetFortris.
Amanda Halsted just joined Human Interest as its new senior national partner account manager. The company provides 401(k) plans for SMBs.
Halsted’s channel cred includes stops as national channel manager at Prodoscore and head of memberships at In Touch Networks.
After just a year at Five9, the contact-center-as-a-service company, John Yessis has been promoted from channel sales manager to director of global partnerships.
Yessis was with Avant for nearly two years before joining Five9 in 2022.
Davisha McIntyre (right) was just promoted by network, communication and collaboration solutions provider Telesystem. Her new position is manager of sales operations.
McIntyre has been with the company since 2020, most recently as supervisor of sales support.
In her new role, she will be responsible for further development of process improvement for partners’ quoting experience. She will also align with leaders in sales, product development, service delivery and marketing.
New to Telesystem is Taylor Given (left), manager of customer success. She will lead the company’s account growth and retention programs.
Her last job was senior partner development manager at Jenne, the cloud services brokerage, where she spent nearly three years.
LiveVox, the cloud contact center service provider, has a new VP of global channel sales, replacing Dan DeLozier, who left a couple of months ago. And it’s a familiar face.
Bobby Hall, veteran of 8×8, CenturyLink, Avaya and more, is stepping into the role.
It’s a promotion from manager to director for Jonathan DuFault at Nova Soluções, the Brazil-based network, voice and tech services provider.
His new title is strategic alliance director.
Bigleaf Networks, the SD-WAN and network optimization solutions provider, turned to Steve Braverman as its new chief sales officer.
The technology advisor (agent) community knows Braverman as a co-founder of X4 Solutions, which sold to Sandler Partners in 2016.

It’s a promotion for Walt Daumler, now senior national TSD (tech services distributor) manager at RingCentral, the communication and collaboration giant. He previously was senior manager of partner success.
Daumler, who’s been with the company since 2017, is a veteran of Pax8, Cbeyond and Broadview Networks.
After spending most of his career at Tech Data and Ingram Micro, Marty Bauerlein is back in distribution as chief commercial officer at D&H Distributing.
Bauerlein left Tech Data in 2021, about the time it was merging with Synnex, for a job with AMD. He spent a little more than a year-and-a-half there.

Ooma, the phone system and enterprise communications provider, hired Kathy Mazza (right) as its new head of channel sales. That gives her responsibility for channel programs and the resellers, VARs and white-label providers across Ooma’s full line of business products and services.
There’s a good chance you know Mazza from 8×8, where she was VP of strategic channels.
That’s Randy Miears, regional channel manager for Ooma, on the left. Based in Dallas-Ft. Worth, Miears comes to the company from Nextiva.
Netacea, which specializes in bot detection and mitigation, promoted Joe Murray to SVP of partnerships. The four-year veteran of the company has 25 years of experience at managed services and SaaS companies. They include BT, MDNX Group and Essensys.
Murray will be responsible for customer acquisition, growth and retention.
Preston Carpenter, who spent 13 years at Windstream and another 10 at cable companies, just jumped to AT&T, where his title is national channel director.
His last gig was national partner development manager at Spectrum.
Billy Sue Glover is back at Cogent Communications, the multinational internet service provider … as a partner channel manager.
She spent eight years at Cogent before leaving for Mitel for a seven-month stint.
Glover also has five years of experience from Level 3 Communications.
Advantix, the tech expense management provider, hired Natasha Royer Coons as its new chief executive officer.
Advantix acquired TeraNova, the company that Royer Coons founded, in 2018. She has been serving as CRO.
Royer Coons replaces Advantix co-founder Brad Frazier as CEO. He has decided to pursue another career.
Industry veteran and well-known channel podcast host Eric Brooker just landed at Viirtue, the white-label voice and UCaaS provider. His title is chief revenue and marketing officer.
Brooker has 20 years of experience that includes stops at Broadvoice, Biglead and Bluewave Technology Group.
Liz Lederer is now global sales manager at Nodeware by IGI Cyberlabs. The security company works closely with MSPs.
Lederer has worked for more than a dozen tech companies in her career, but by far her longest stint was more than 14 years at CA Technologies. Her las job was partner business manager at Logically.
Pax8 alum Natasha Fulbright has joined security automation provider Torq as vice president of growth.
She spent more than five years as VP of marketing at Pax8, and before that was director of integrated marketing at CenturyLink for nine-and-a-half years.
Cybersecurity provider Trustwave hired Drew Simmons as senior channel account manager, East. He comes most recently from Ericsson where he was director of channel sales.
You might know Simmons best from his days at CenturyLink and tw telecom before that, where he spent a combined 14-and-a-half years.
Scott Gould just landed at CommandLink, which offers a proprietary ITSM platform and network. His title is channel director.
Gould had a couple of stints at Quest and Verizon Business, but we bet you know him from his 17 years at Windstream.
Orca Security named James Love president of field operations. He will lead channel teams and global sales, supporing demand for the company’s cloud-native application protection platform.
Love previously was CRO at Illumio and also brings experience from Imperva.

Oliver Norman just joined Veritas, the enterprise data management vendor, as VP of channels and alliances, EMEAI. In this role, he will develop a channel strategy to build Veritas’ position in business and cloud resiliency.
Norman’s last job was area VP for BMC Software. There, he headed up the channel sales function for EMEA.
HoJin Kim is the senior vice president and chief revenue officer at security company WatchGuard Technologies.
Kim has a long career with big tech companies, including IBM, HPE, Juniper Networks and more. His last role with a tech company was VP, worldwide channels and North America sales at SonicWall.
Jason Heroux just joined the WiLine Networks team as an indirect channel manager. WiLine is a high-speed internet business communications provider.
The move comes after more than 19 years at Towerstream.
Nate Crook is the new chief revenue officer at Amplitude.
Crook will lead the company’s sales organization and drive the product analytics and event tracking platform’s go-to-market revenue strategy.
You might know him from Microsoft, Cisco or Symantec.

Martini has been a customer, consultant, partner executive and employee in the Microsoft ecosystem for more than 25 years. He most recently worked with strategic partners in Microsoft’s Global Partner Solutions group.

The traditional telco channel was out in force this past month. We’ll show you who AT&T, Avant and Telarus hired and promoted. We have nine people just among those three companies. In one case, a well-known person from that community took the cybersecurity plunge.
Speaking of security, Barracuda, WatchGuard and Sophos all made personnel moves of note. Other big names, such as Juniper Networks, Veritas and Five9 also got in on the action.
