Telarus Hires SimpleWAN, Cogent Veteran as Advanced Networking Sales Engineer
The former channel manager will help Telarus sales partners design, present and close SD-WAN opportunities.
Telarus, the master agent, has hired industry veteran Josh Haselhorst as its new advanced networking sales engineer.
Haselhorst, who is based in Phoenix, will help sales partners design, present and close software-defined networking (SD-WAN) opportunities. His services are free to all Telarus sales partners and can be white-labeled under their brand.
Haselhorst brings a strong background in providing channel partner support in WAN and UCaaS technologies to his position at Telarus. He previously served as national channel manager for SimpleWAN. Before that, he worked for Cogent and Mitel as a global account manager, working directly with enterprise customers and helping them transition to the cloud over secure infrastructure.
Telarus’ Josh Haselhorst
“I’ve been watching Telarus grow for years, and now I am proud to join their sales engineering team,” said Haselhorst. “Telarus has been aggressively hiring new sales engineers to help them sell new technologies because they believe in providing people and resources that make them appear bigger, more credible, and with an ability to close the big deals.”

Last year, Telarus acquired CarrierSales to become the second largest master agency in its industry.
This past June, they hired Nikki Day as senior partner development manager for New England, to help recruit new partners and help existing partners expand their practices in UCaaS, SD-WAN, security and contact center.
In September, Robert Greenough was hired as a cloud sales engineer for the Southeast.
Haselhorst also cited the many time-saving tools that Telarus has built and purchased over the past decade, culminating with the SD-WAN decision matrix the company launched in June at their annual Partner Exchange event.
