Zovy Expands OEM Agreement with HP

Data governance solution provider Zovy LLC has expanded and extended its original equipment manufacturer agreement with Hewlett-Packard (HPQ), giving the company access to the latest versions of HP’s Consolidated Archive solutions portfolio.

The OEM extension will expand the Zovy Data Governance Suite with the addition of the latest HP Consolidated Archive solutions, HP eDiscovery solutions and the HP Intelligent Data Operating Layer platform, according to the announcement.

“This new agreement reflects our commitment to delivering solutions to clients that combine security, privacy and performance, as well as showcases our strong relationship with HP Software,” said Chris Grossman, chief executive officer, Zovy LLC, in a statement. “Leveraging the power of IDOL, Zovy LLC creates a data governance solution that moves beyond traditional data governance and compliance to empower our customers to control their data and to accelerate business success.”

Zovy expects its renewed partnership with HP to provide its customers with more ways to meet government compliance and data retention requirements for sensitive information.

“Zovy LLC has proven to be a valuable partner, servicing their customers through successful implementations of the HP Software solutions with their in-depth knowledge of the HP applications and domain expertise,” said David Jones, senior vice president and general manager, Big Data Solutions at HP Software. “We look forward to our continued partnership at every level of our organization.”

Last week, Rand Secure Data announced it had rebranded itself as Zovy LLC following the company’s acquisition by Alta Equity Partners for an undisclosed sum. The company decided to change the name to reflect a renewed commitment to serve the enterprise marketplace with best-in-class proven technology to fulfill archiving, backup, and eDiscovery needs through an integrated secure platform.”

Zovy also moved its headquarters to Waltham, Massachusetts, following the acquisition.
