A trio of personnel moves of note at UCaaS giant RingCentral.
Left to right: Alix Jordan, senior manager, national TSDs (promoted from manager, national TSDs); Greg Rosengarten, senior territory partner manager (promoted from regional partner manager); and Larry Crabtree, senior director of partner sales, West (promoted from director of partner sales).
Communications behemoth Lumen Technologies promoted Michael Hiatt (left) to director of large and complex channel sales. It’s a step up from large enterprise and key accounts director.
Hiatt’s career includes stops at Allstream and CenturyLink Business (before rebranding to Lumen).
And on the right, that’s Scott Voss, director of channel sales, based in San Diego. His background includes stops at MetTel, Spectrotel, Windstream and CenturyLink.
Unified SASE company Aryaka found their man in Pete Harteveld, the company’s new chief revenue officer.
He has plenty of experience leading teams in technology, including in his last gig as CRO at Veracode.
It’s a promotion for Katie Lane, who’s only been with Dialpad, the customer intelligence platform, for a little more than a year. She’s moved up from partner account manager to regional channel manager.
Lane also has experience at Fuze, Lifesize and more.
Bluewave Technology Group, the tech and telecom advisory company, named Val Milshtein chief information officer.
Milshtein has 25 years of experience in product development, process design, software engineering and more. He most recently was CTO for Stack Infrastructure, a multinational data center company.
That’s Sonya Ziegler Meline, new vice president of business development at Blue Team Alpha, a veteran-owned, Minnesota-based cybersecurity company.
You might remember her from her days at Effortless Office and Technology Source. She’s also active in the Alliance of Channel Women.
David DeCamillis got “senior” added to his title of VP of sales and marketing at Applied Tech, the MSP with offices in Wisconsin and Colorado.
DeCamillis has been with the company for a year-and-a-half after nearly 15 years at Denver-based Platte River Networks.
Thrive, a regular on the Channel Futures MSP 501 list, made two key personnel moves.
That’s Matt Powers on the left, promoted from director of channel development to senior director of channel operations and development.
And on the right, that’s Steve Tilley, who joins the provider of cybersecurity and cloud managed services as head of sales in Europe. Previous employers include SecureWorks, Zscaler, Palo Alto Networks and more.
Michael Brinton now represents AireSpring, the managed IT and unified communications provider, as regional channel manager for the company’s eastern region of Florida.
He joins the company from Nitel. He also has experience from Expereo and CenturyLink.
Jamaal Savwoir, who you probably know from 8×8 or Intelisys, just landed at Bridgepointe Technologies to lead its new customer experience division. His title is vice president of channel for BridgepointeCX.
The BridgepointeCX practice emerged from the company’s December acquisition of PPT Solutions, with PPT taking on the Bridgepointe brand last month.
The division, as you learn here, provides consulting, managed services and staff augmentation around customer experience-related technologies such as CCaaS.
That there is Dan Monahan, the new global channel leader for security company Darktrace. His title is SVP of global partner organization.
Monahan comes over from Cohesity, where he oversaw all aspects of that company’s partner program in North America. He’s also a VMware alumnus.

Druva, the SaaS backup and recovery provider, turned to Mike Houghton as senior VP of global partners and alliances. Expect an expansion of the company’s Compass Partner Program to come soon.
Houghton comes to Druva from rival Cohesity, where he spent two years.
Jasmina Muller joined the team at PartnerTap, the B2B SaaS company that specializes in partner data automation. Her job is to grow the company’s partner program and build partnerships.
Muller is well-known in the channel from previous jobs at Everbridge, ScienceLogic, 8×8 and CenturyLink.

Christopher Bray is the new SVP of partner and e-commerce sales at Sectigo, the cybersecurity company. His job covers strategy, sales and marketing operations, and more.
His last gig was SVP of Norton field sales and marketing at Symantec. He’s also a McAfee veteran.

Ringover, the CCaaS and VoIP phone system provider, named three hires to its team based in Atlanta.

Clodfelter comes to Ringover from EnTelegent Solutions, while Heilman and Hammel both made the move from Voice Carrier.
Michelle Ragusa-McBain introduced herself as SonicWall‘s vice president and North America channel leader at last month’s Channel Partners Conference & Expo. She says her goal is to help partners grow and profit with the “boundless shift to cybersecurity.”
Ragusa-McBain is a former global partner sales leader at Cisco and worked at channel consultancy JS Group.

Printing and scanning giant Brother named Greig Millar as its new chief revenue officer for the UK. It’s a promotion for Millar, who has been with the company for 20 years, most recently as general manager of sales.
He will be responsible for leading Brother’s sales team and partner strategy.
Longtime Sophos sales leader Mike Valentine (right) left the security giant last month amid a number of new executive appointments. Valentine, who was CRO, left his job about a month after the company hired Bill Robbins as president of worldwide field operations.
One of those new hires was Pat Sheridan (left), hired as SVP of Americas sales. Sheridan most recently held the same title at Trellix. He also has experience from FireEye (which became Trellix), Commvault, Brocade and more.

Impartner, the provider and reseller of partner management technologies, hired Brent Taylor as chief financial officer.
Taylor as 13 years of experience leading high-growth companies. He most recently with Imagine Learning.
Tech services distributor Intelisys promoted Angela Filipone to senior manager, partner support. A five-year veteran of the company, Filipone’s previous title was manager, partner support, East.
Before Intelisys, she had a long career at Windstream, and formerly Paetec, which Windstream bought.
Sean Corrigan expects to be working closely with MSP partners as the new VP of channel and managed services at Lightspeed Voice, the cloud-based IP telephony provider.
Corrigan joins the team from Sangoma, where he most recently was VP of business development.
It’s a bigger title for Kurt Abrahams at MSP360, the IT management platform for MSPs. Abrahams moves from VP of marketing to chief marketing officer.
Abrahams spent a couple of years at Kaseya back in the day, but nearly eight at Veriato.
MSP Advantage Communications Group appointed Eric Wansong (left) as global chief operating officer.
Before Advantage, he was chief customer officer at Code42, where he was responsible for all post-sale operations.
Ashleigh Gray (right) is also new to Advantage. Gray spent five-and-a-half years at Telarus before taking on this position as a senior sales support specialist.
Channel veteran Stuart Selbst joined the team at Nothing But Net, a repeat Channel Futures MSP 501 honoree, as director of client experience.
In addition to running a consulting company, Selbst has held positions at Slipstream IT, CloudIT, Spectrum Technology Solutions and more.
Seceon, which augments and automates security operations services for MSPs and MSSPs, named longtime IT industry vet William Toll as VP of marketing. He has worked in cybersecurity, managed services and cloud computing during his career.
Some of those companies include Acronis and Navisite.
Managed cloud service provider RapidScale, a Cox Business company, added a pair of cloud solutions consultants.
One is Eddie Wolfe (left), who will represent the Great Lakes region. Dom Correa (right), will lead efforts in the Great Plains. Both will be responsible for driving channel sales and partner enablement within their regions.
Wolfe most recently was a national channel manager for NetFortris, while Correa worked on the Cox side off the business for seven years, most recently as a channel sales manager.
Identity access management provider CyberFox hired Wes Spencer as VP of cybersecurity strategy.
Spencer spent the past year at FifthWall Solutions, but also brings experience from ConnectWise and Perch Security, to name a couple.
Distribution giant TD Synnex named Sophia Haywood-Atkinson its new director of services in the UK and Ireland.
It’s a reunion with TD Synnex for Haywood-Atkinson, who spent the last 18 months working for Apple. Her previous job at TD Synnex was head of TaaS B2C and renew trade-in services.
Shiva Pillay is the new general manager and SVP of Americas for Veeam, the data protection and ransomware recovery giant. His job is to lead growth and business operations across the region.
It’s a shift in geography for Pillay, whose last role at the company was in a similar capacity for Asia Pacific and Japan. He joined the company in 2018.
Meet Logan Ochitwa, enterprise account director for the IT channel at Vendasta, the Canada-based provider of digital services to SMBs.
It’s a promotion for Ochitwa, from account executive.
Cloud storage company Wasabi appointed Jon Howes as VP and general manager for EMEA.
He has 20 years of experience, with expertise in scaling go-to-market models for tech companies. Previous employers include Juniper Networks, Oracle and Infovista.
That’s Tara Brady, new president of EMEA for Google Cloud.
Based in London, Brady will lead the organization’s efforts to help customers across EMEA drive the transformation of their businesses in the cloud.
Brady most recently led Microsoft’s global sales and strategic partnerships team as corporate VP.
That’s John Hamater, national channel manager at Xpanse Networks, the network and security technology solutions provider.
Hamater comes to Xpanse after a brief stop at BCM One and about two years at Nitel/Hypercore Networks.
It’s a big-name hire for Zift Solutions, the provider of partner relationship management and through-channel marketing automation software.
Anthony D’Angelo is now head of customer growth at the company. His 20 years of experience include his last job as global channel chief for Cato Networks, the SD-WAN provider.
Amsterdam-based GNX, the global connectivity solutions provider, turned to Etienne van Diermen as its new director of partner sales.
van Diermen has a track record working for large telcos, national providers, MSPs and small vendors. He most recently spent eight-and-a-half years at Expereo, where he finished up as account manager, partner sales, EMEA.
Longtime channel exec Gary Levy (left) recently landed at Alvaria, the global enterprise contact center solution provider. You surely know him from key channel roles at Avaya, Oracle and Semafone.

Also new at Alvaria is Chance Anderson, technology alliances global sales manager. He joins the team after jobs at UJET and IntelePeer.

Another big month of new hires and promotions means another chock-full edition of Channel People on the Move.
Look no further than the slideshow above for roughly 50 personnel moves at companies doing business in the channel. Human resources departments were busy in May.
This month’s People on the Move feature runs the gamut of traditional telco and IT players, plus security companies, and partner businesses of all types.
Take HPE, for instance, which named a new VP of its GreenLake offering that sells through partners. Then there was Bridgepointe, which started a new customer experience division and hired an Intelisys and 8×8 alum to run it.
Moreover, there was some shuffling at security company Sophos, which saw one key leader exit and several more join the team.
Those are just a handful of the movers and shakers you’ll see in the slideshow above.
