ACS Executive Joins USTelecom Board

Liane Pelletier, chairman, president and CEO of Alaska Communications Systems Group, will join the United States Telecom Association (USTelecom) board of directors, USTelecom said today.

As the largest service provider in Alaska and among the top 15 largest carriers in the nation, ACS is a cutting-edge company that is leading the way for its customers and the industry, said Skip Frantz, chairman of the USTelecom Board and executive vice president and secretary of Alltel. Liane Pelletier is a top-notch executive and an industry leader whose affiliation with USTelecom and participation on our board of directors will add to the stature and effectiveness of our organization.
