The companies on Monday announced that the California-based master agent has joined the Avaya Cloud master agent program. Avaya announced the program in March, with Jenne as its first partner.

Avaya says it will provide management and support for on-boarding and deployment to Intelisys sales partners, who will in turn help “address increasing demand for Avaya cloud services.” Avaya notes that some of its services are hosted unified communications carrier services and monthly billing.

Gary Levy, Avaya’s vice president of U.S. channels, says his company launched the new master-agent program to improve the process of partnering with Avaya.

“The breadth and depth of Intelisys’ network of sales partners will facilitate and enhance the delivery of Avaya’s hosted cloud offerings to end-user customers,” Levy said. “Together we plan to provide unified-communication services to meet growing market demands, while simplifying the process of on-boarding, deploying and managing the technology and customer relationship.”

Intelisys’ Jay Bradley

The company launched its Avaya Cloud division in January. Avaya already has been partnering with ScanSource, which bought Intelisys in 2016.

Intelisys President Jay Bradley says his company’s partners have “tremendous opportunities” to combine Avaya’s cloud services with a bundled solution.

“We have great respect for the longstanding relationship between Avaya and ScanSource, and are incredibly pleased to add Avaya cloud solutions,” Bradley said. “We have the unique privilege of being able to now collectively offer our sales partners a holistic and complete solution to their customers — or any individual Avaya solution components they see as a fit.”

Intelisys recently formed a bond with Mitel as ScanSource became the UCaaS provider’s primary U.S. distributor for onsite products. Bradley took part in a panel for master agents and distributors at last week’s Channel Partners Conference & Expo.
