Windstream Enterprise‘s new VoIP service targets customers that are moving on from plain old telephone service (POTS).
The new solution targets “critical safety voice applications,” such as alarms and POS terminals. The IP-based solution helps customers upgrade from technologically outdated and increasingly expensive POTs.
They’re calling it Digital Voice Lines (DVL) with Cellular Failover.

Life just got a bit easier for MSPs that use Malwarebytes and Datto.
Malwarebytes integrated its OneView MSP console with Datto’s remote mornitoring and management (RMM) platform, as well as Datto’s professional services automation (PSA) platform. An executive said the integration allows MSPs to adopt Malwarebytes’ solution without having to drop Datto.

Aruba is touting Wi-Fi 6E as a solution to increased bandwidth demands.
Wi-Fi 6E extends Wi-Fi 6 using the 6 GHz band. As a result, companies can find double the radio frequency spectrum. That’s according to Aruba, which launched a Wi-Fi 6E earlier this year.

The software-defined network services provider gave partners a way to address customers’ tumultuous reliance on public broadband.

Software asset management provider Snow Software launched a cloud-native version of its platform.
The Azure-based platform tracks technology assets, optimizes applications and reduces technology spend. As a result, MSPs can hand over hosting duties to Snow and focus on other services.

Dialpad said it is bringing its UCaaS and CCaaS products closer together.
The company launched Dialpad Meetings, a revamped version of UberConference. It also launched a voice and chat-based conversational/messaging feature called Dialpad Channels.

AppSmart‘s technology advisers can sell a new portfolio voice and collaboration products.
The B2B technology marketplace provider signed Ooma to its vendor stable. Ooma, which acquired Broadsmart and its channel relationships two years ago, provides a UCaaS platform, Teams direct routing and cloud-based phone services. Ooma also provides a Wi-Fi offering.

GTT Communications enhanced its SD-WAN solution.
The service provider added a co-management option to both its SD-WAN and security solutions. As a result, customers can look into their network environment in real-time and make changes to their network and firewall configuration.

Nextiva integrated its phone system with its new contact center offering.
The integration serves the hybrid and distributed workforce, who benefit from UCaaS and contact center coming together.
“By going through Nextiva to purchase UCaaS and CCaaS together, our partners can deliver a single point of contact for setup and support for their customers,” a Nextiva executive said.

SMBs can now buy mobile services from Comcast Business.
Comcast is providing the service via Wi-Fi hotspots and mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) services using Verizon’s networks. The new Comcast Business Mobile service resembles the Xfinity Mobile consumer offering it launched in 2017.

Ingram Micro Cloud is helping resellers launch their own cloud marketplaces.
The distributor launched Marketplace-as-a-Service, which takes care of back-end operations that partners would normally have to deal with in order to expand their cloud businesses.
Victor Baez, senior vice president of Ingram Micro’s global cloud channel, said the new model helps VARs “expand the commercial possibilities of their IP.”
“A reseller’s IP can be in the form of bundled offer, a specialty service that they are certified in delivering or an in-house developed solution that they offer to their customers along with their services,” Baez told Channel Futures.

Bridgepointe sales partners can now offer their customers Evolve IP solutions.
Evolve IP creates a wide variety of productivity and communications solutions. That includes Teams direct routing, contact center, UCaaS and virtual desktops.

Avant gave its partners a new telecom expense management to sell.
The Chicago-based distributor added Tangoe to its portfolio. Tangoe provides expense management services for telecom, mobility and cloud. It also provides managed mobility services.

TBI added a host of providers to its line card.
Most notably, Zoom signed up with the services distributor, which sells through a large base of agents. TBI also teamed up with security information and event management (SIEM) provider ArmorPoint, employee productivity measurer Prodoscore and cloud services provider BluIP.

Most of these product announcements directly address hybrid work. For example, Masergy launched a service that monitors and enhances on-net broadband, addressing the significant uptick in broadband usage driven by the pandemic.
