PAETEC Communications Inc. today launched its iPATH VoIP service that includes equipment for the customer premise, IP T1, hosted IP telephony and hosted IP PBXs.

Agents can sell iPATH which targets medium and large businesses while wholesalers and resellers can offer the DID aggregation portion of the service.

iPATHs services include a Web portal for self-provisioning of services, performing adds, moves and changes, and supporting real-time call control. Hosted IP telephony customers will have access to voice messaging, automatic call distribution, hosted voice VPN and auto attendant.

“Virtually all of PAETECs major customers are considering a deployment of VoIP, or are already using VoIP to a limited degree in their networks, said Jack Baron, chief marketing and training officer for PAETEC. iPATHs suite of services represents a major shift in the quality and breadth of VoIP offerings, giving American businesses the ability to develop a sensible VoIP deployment plan, while allowing them to experience cost efficiencies and improved productivity, and holding the line on budgetary expenses.”
