TalkSwitch said today it has released new software that ensures interoperability between its 48-CVA telephone systems and BroadVoices VoIP calling plans.

TalkSwitch distributes its equipment through solutions providers.

TalkSwitch software version 3.22 is available as a free download from the TalkSwitch Web site. TalkSwitch said the platform allows for smooth remote system configuration over IP, which increases manageability for multilocation businesses.

The business calling plans offered by BroadVoice hold a lot of appeal for small businesses, said Jan Scheeren, president and CEO of TalkSwitch. Together, we offer the perfect combination of powerful telephony features, user-friendly installation/configuration, and affordable VoIP-based calling.

BroadVoice delivers multiple virtual lines over one broadband connection, so companies can assign a phone number to each employee. Incoming callers can directly dial an individual, bypassing the receptionist and the auto attendant. TalkSwitch said this allows for direct inward dialing on its systems for the first time.
