Telarus is bulking up partner support staff in its home region.

Randi Robison is the master agent’s new senior partner-development manager for Utah and Idaho.

Telarus’ Randi Robison

Robison, who has experience in unified communications will recruit new partners to the company and help existing partners “expand their data, voice, cloud and contact-center practices.”

Telarus is based in Sandy, Utah, and Robinson has worked in the Salt Lake City area.

Koby Phillips, regional vice president of sales for the Mountain West, said half of Telarus’ top 20 partners operate out in Utah, “a region very near and dear to us.”

“We wanted to give them ‘home court’ advantage by providing white-glove service from a partner-development perspective. Randi came highly recommended from these top partners in the area: Dhe is highly responsive, knowledgeable about [unified communications] – our fastest growing product line – and has a track record of overachievement,” Phillips said. “She’ll focus on getting our valued partners in Utah and Idaho the education and resources they need to expand into the fastest-growing areas of technology brokerage: cybersecurity and cloud contact center.”

Here’s our list of channel people on the move in October.

Robison most recently worked as a commercial sales executive for the West at West Unified Communications Services. She started working at West as a global account executive.

She has worked in account-executive roles at numerous companies, but she boasts a diverse range of past employers, including Adobe and an oil company. She has also worked in the broadcast media in Park City, Utah.

Telarus hired a couple of other senior partner development managers this past summer. The company has grown its headcount not just through its acquisition of CarrierSales but through a steady stream of hirings. The master agent’s portfolio is also growing, as it has announced multiple new vendor partnerships this month.
