July was red hot. But unlike the uncomfortable feeling for many of us outdoors, the hot channel job market – in terms of people on the move – was great to see.
They were spread pretty evenly across the traditional telecom and IT channels, with security, MSPs, tech advisor businesses and everything in between.
Let’s take Aptum, for instance. You might not know the company, but you know the well-known face from Rackspace just landed there in a key channel role.
Then there are the tech services distributors. Telarus and Avant both either added team members or promoted them.
The biggest move of them all might have been the head of Cisco’s global partner organization taking a new role with the company across the pond. Furthermore, we watched someone who spent more than two-dozen years in distribution move to the Google-sphere.
The first of the month always means Channel People on the Move time, but you can always go here to see some of the biggest new hires and promotions as they happen.
We have more than three-dozen new hires and promotions from July for you to peruse in the slideshow above.
If you missed last month’s edition, featuring moves at 8×8, HPE and Lumen, it’s right here.
