Most channel organizations want to build a successful DE&I strategy. But what’s the best way to do that — and get the buy-in of the C-suite? At the DE&I Meetup, hear from Kelli McMillan, founder and CEO of Xposure Inclusion & Diversity Council, and Mobolaji Sokunbi, Dell’s head of strategic partnerships for North America small business, about the latest research and industry insights on how to become an agent of change. You’ll also have the chance to meet some members of the inaugural DE&I 101, people who are out there getting things done.
Data is good, but sometimes it’s too much of a good thing. Hear from Colin Knox, CEO of Gradient MSP, about how to focus on the big picture without being distracted by the little details. You can control the demands being made on your time. Find out how in “Clearing the Fog to Focus on the Bigger Picture.”
Again this year, the Channel Partners Theater will be at the heart of the Expo Hall. Sponsored by AT&T, the theater will be the site of everything from vendor sessions and panel discussions and to award presentations.
CIOs are in the hot seat right now, responsible for directing their organizations’ transitions to new ways of working following the pandemic. In “Selling to the CIO: Digital Disruption with the Hybrid Workforce,” Gary Sorrentino, CIO of Zoom, will offer his perspectives on what CIOs need from IT solution experts in this time of transformation and evolution.
As we transition from “What’s going on?!?” to “Is it over yet?” channel companies are approaching 2022 with cautious optimism. So says CompTIA’s “International State of the Channel 2021” report. During “Today’s Channel: Pushing Ahead for the Future,” Carolyn April, senior director of industry analysis for CompTIA, will share key findings from the report and how they impact the channel.
We’ve dedicated two sessions to turning the spotlight on today’s channel superstars: “The Edge of Glory: Meet Today’s Channel Superstars.” On Tuesday, Janet Schijns, CEO of JS Group, and David Wright, founder and CEO of Disruptive Innovations, will introduce up-and-coming channel partners in 5G, edge, cloud and security. And on Wednesday, it will be Raquel Wiley, vice president of marketing for NetFortris, who will be handling the hosting duties.
Subscription-based models were not unexpected. They had been predicted for years. But the pandemic forever changed the customer-partner-supplier paradigm, bringing subscription models to the forefront. In “Subscription-Based Models: Make the Shift Successfully,” Paul Caiazzo, CISO and senior vice president of corporate development for Avertium and Rob Stephenson, CEO of Thrive Networks, will discuss how channel partners and MSPs can start enjoying steady, predictable revenue streams.
An excellent customer experience depends on excellent communications. In “Meet XCaaS: A New Era of Cloud Communications,” Bobby Hall, global vice president and channel chief for 8×8 will provide an introduction to experience communications-as-a-service (XCaaS) and a new era of integrated cloud unified communications and contact centers.
Sales and marketing need to work in tandem. Unfortunately, they often don’t, and this marketing misalignment costs companies more than $1 trillion annually. Fortunately for channel partners, Angela Leavitt, founder and CEO of Mojenta, is coming to your rescue. In “The Seven Deadly Sins of Sales & Marketing Alignment and How to Fix Them,” she will outline a step-by-step plan for eliminating misalignment and developing a cohesive, growth-oriented team.
